GALLARDO BORGE SARA, SANGRADOR PELLUZ CRISTINA, VALL-LLOVERA CALMET FERRAN, NICOLÁS PICÓ JORDI

Liposomal amphotericin B (AmBL) has a toxicity profile with a low incidence of neurological disorders in relation to voriconazole. We present the case of a 71-year old patient who presented an episode of visual hallucinations, disorientation, memory disorder and delirium after administration of AmBL. After carrying out a neurological
study and a literature search of the possible triggering factors, the adverse reaction was attributed to AmBL. With a clear improvement in symptoms after the withdrawal of the antifungal.
